Sam Voelkel > Christmas Day, 2008: Three wise swans.
Sam Voelkel > Week ending Dec 21, 2008. A blue heron hi-tails it when I get too close to him. I am shooting due South, so I overexposed to show his otherwise shadowed body. The result is the sky is blown out to white, creating this surreal photo.

Sam Voelkel > Week ending Oct 31, 2008. Windmill farm near Earl Park, Indiana as seen from the town cemetary. The 2 large windmills are clearly visible, but notice also the dozens of windmills on the horizon. Is this the future?
